Our Three Step Process
The Mango Farm 🍋 — A Creative Playground in Bloom
If you’ve been around the CoLab community for a minute, then you already know how much we love to celebrate our own. One of our favourite projects to watch grow from a seed into something truly special has been The Mango Farm—a beautiful collaboration between the sonic visionaries at Babble Hume and the up-and-coming event producers, Creators of The South.

One of our favourite projects to watch grow from a seed into something truly special has been The Mango Farm—a beautiful collaboration between the sonic visionaries at Babble Hume and the up-and-coming event producers, Creators of The South.
They’ve been running shows out in Linden, and yo… each performance just gets better. Seriously. They’ve now hosted over 7 shows—each one more electric, more soulful, more full than the last. At this point, their biggest problem is space (and that’s the kind of problem we love to see).
This isn’t just another gig. It’s a vibe.
It’s a space where creatives—especially musicians—get to express themselves freely, experiment, and connect with a real audience. And for Creators of The South, it’s been a live case study in how to throw unforgettable events from the ground up. Real early-stage brilliance. Real work. Real results.
At CoLab, we’ve been lucky to witness this magic up close.
To be part of the crowd. To feel the bass.
To see creatives put it all out there—and producers rise to the occasion with each new challenge.
It’s moments like these that remind us why we built CoLab in the first place:
To build ecosystems where creativity thrives.
To give projects like The Mango Farm space to grow roots and bear fruit.
And to support the next wave of culture-makers in SA.
We’re proud of you, Babble Hume.
We see you, Creators of the South.
Keep going. Keep growing.
We’re rooting for you. Always.
